What you’d work on
- Streaming data infrastructure at billions-of-events-per-day scale — MSK Kafka, EMR Spark, Iceberg and Aurora.
- Ingestion adapters for many meter manufacturers and head-ends.
- Master data and the utility domain model.
- Validation and estimation logic, where being wrong has real settlement consequences.
- Load control and DER dispatch, coordinating household batteries and EV chargers at fleet scale.
- CI/CD and operational excellence matter as much as feature work.
What we look for
We look for senior engineers who hold ambiguity well, push back constructively, and ship code that runs reliably at 3am. Utility, metering, or large-scale data engineering experience is a bonus, not a gate.
